For a very long time the role of Freemasons has been to influence, watch over and create our society in the way they are instructed to. Please see the links and notes below that help put this information into the big picture.
Who are the Freemasons and where did they start?
Several sources suggest that freemasonry originated from Ancient Egypt, which looks to be a reasonable explanation of why the symbols of Ancient Egypt are still being used today.
“The ongoing connective tissue between the modern and ancient secret societies has been Freemasonry, which existed as a formidable force long before certain lodges became ‘Illuminized.’ During the late Middle Ages when any opposition to the Holy Roman Universal (Catholic) church was forced deep underground, among the only organized groups able to move freely throughout Europe were the guilds of stone masons, who maintained meeting halls or “lodges” in every major city.
The masons, who traced their own secret knowledge of architecture and building back to Egypt and beyond, were essential in the construction of Europe’s churches and cathedrals. They were the direct descendants of early guilds of masons which existed both in Egypt and Greece and utilized esoteric construction techniques in their craft. These techniques had been passed down through the sects and mystery schools and some continue to confound modern builders.”

This article by Freemason Jack Buta gives another idea, he writes that in 1482, the Scottish King James III realised the benefits of having a skilled builder on his team to help him create the type of kingdom he desired, and gentrified a stone mason named Robert Cochrane whose work he was impressed with. Unfortunately the elite at the time were not happy with a commoner being promoted, and later that same year they rebelled and hanged Cochrane, who was instantly given martyr status.
Skip forward to the 16th century when all sorts of power struggles were going on and fears of treason were rife. King James I of England (who was King James IV of Scotland) ruled over both countries and had to find people he could trust to assist him in his circle of governing power. Once again a king was looking for people who would help him to build and govern his kingdom, and basically protect himself from being ousted off the throne. So skilled people were chosen once again as trustworthy alies and according to the author, this is when the fraternity brotherhood and holy craft ideas were established.
The masons knew they were onto a good thing and saw the worth in building an institution to protect their new status and working toward securing the throne for their king. Especially mindful that if the kingdom was overthrown their positions would probably go with it.
Stories with regards to the origins may differ, but the general idea of this origin is logical to me, and they are still to this day carrying out the role of influencing society according to the will of the elite.
As King Jim recognised there is a great advantage to having people that live within the community and carry out such plans to keep the existing structures of power. People whose job it is to watch what is going on, to see where flaws in the control system are appearing, and by influencing people’s thoughts and actions with their positions.
This role of shaping the world into the future has even been announced to us in a capstone at Denver airport in Colarado, USA. A picture of the capstone and its writing is here. The image quality is not good, but it is almost readible). Underneath the Masonic Square and Compasses there are the words “New World Airport Commission.” Commission means they are saying “they have been granted certain powers or the authority to carry out a particular task or duty”. Understanding what this really means helps us to see more clearly the symbolic announcement being made for us to read and simply pass by because many of us don’t really understand who the masons are and why they do these things. This act of putting something here that tricks us into giving our acceptance to it becomes an occult mechanism. Because if we walk on by without reading or even if we do stop to read this and not understand or say to ourselves “no this isn’t right, I don’t give my acceptance to this”, we are giving the Freemasons our acceptance and our spiritual permission to carry on shaping this world according to the plans of the elite. Denver Airport is particularly interesting with pictures and symbols, a lot of them are quite horrible and it makes you scratch your head at first. But this is only a part of a plan at work for more power and control over the population. This article has pictures of the artworks and goes into detail about the meanings.
List of Freemasons considered to be noteworthy. Notice how many familiar names it contains, you may be as astounded as I was. Actors, poets, writers, polititians, philosophers, film producers, playwrites, comedians, judges, a co-founder of Apple computers, the founder of the Illuminati (that one’s hardly going to knock your socks off), circus promoters, royalty, millitary, occult practitioners (including the author of the popular symbol laden Rider-Waite tarot deck) and the list goes on. This is well worth taking a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Freemasons
After you read the list stop for a moment and think about how influential these people have been in shaping our world and our lives! If you haven’t read Matthew Delooze’s work yet I urge you to begin here.
Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormans have their roots in Freemasonry
Bear in mind this is a Christian based site. There is some information given that shows connections between Freemasonry and the founders of the Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons. http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/False%20Religions/Jehovah%20Witnesses/jw.htm
Charles Darwin’s connection to Freemasonry
We are told there’s no record of Charles Darwin being a freemason though his Grandfather was one and is said to have influenced his ideas. This article has more about Charles’ influence from masonic ideas and connections with the elite families http://www.henrymakow.com/was_darwin_an_instrument_of_th.html
